Every product is offered with the expectation that the purchaser will handle, store, and use the material in accordance with proper laboratory safety practices and applicable regulations.

Certificates of Analysis (where published) and product documentation are provided to support research transparency. Always verify lot-specific documentation before use in any experimental protocol.

How account review works

Purchasing is disabled by default for every account. Creating an account does not grant purchasing access on its own — you must also submit a research account application (institution, institution type, and intended research purpose), and a staff member must approve it. There is no automated approval.

• We check whether your name, email domain, and stated institution are consistent with one another.
• We check whether the stated research purpose is specific and plausible, not generic or copy-pasted.
• We do not currently perform independent third-party verification of institutional accreditation — review is a manual assessment of what you submit, not an outside confirmation of it.

If we can't reasonably substantiate an application, we'll request more information rather than approve it, or decline it outright with a reason. Every application and its review outcome is stored in our systems, not just in your browser.
